Good morning all. Cold here too. 14F -4 windchill and still snowing but little accumulation. Gotta take Hunter to school and then back home for chores. I just finished the blog from last night. Not as long as usual.

 

Home from work now. I'm so glad it's the weekend finally. 3 day weekend then a long workweek but I'll take this 3 days of rest while I can get it. Especially since this is my first time off since 2011. Gonna wait for the sun to come out and then clean out the Monte. I have a box of MREs in the trunk from October. I forgot to grab the even bigger box of MREs out of the truck that I have in there. Oh well.

Just got to work - I had a slip-tastic commute. The roads are solid ice. Plus 3-4 inches of snow. Supposed to get 2-3 more inches today. I'm not used to this - we've had real snow maybe 3 times so far this year.

Good morning everyone! I live out in the country and the roads were in very good shape when I left for work this morning. I travel about 15 miles southeast and once I got into heavier populated area the roads were horrible - I was pretty shocked cause for main roads I would have expected better. It stopped snowing late last night/early this morning and they would have had plenty of time to clean the roads.

 

I'm sitting here watching the news and they just said there's some Arctic air heading our way. We might get our first snowfall Sunday or Monday. It's not the snow that bothers me, it's the crazy people on the road. It's ironic, but people around here don't know how to drive in the rain let alone snow.
