[quote=77gp;404468 I haev to be pretty close to mine though for it to work. How hard is it to put a new battery or whatever in the clicker? I should be able to unlock and start further away. I am talking furthest away I can be is about 20-25 feet. Thats not right is it?[/quote]

That's what it is for mine (20 - 25 ft.), also a 2007 MC. Now that we're having 20* temps, it's really nice to be able to remote start from my front steps, go back in the house, and come out 10 minutes later to a warm car. ( It shuts itself off after 10 minutes) I went to a hardware store and got two batteries for the key fob - cost about $5.00. The MC key fob takes Energizer batteries 2032 . Hope this helps!

I hate it when my doors freeze up. Haven't had that problem since I got down here in Phoenix. Now the windows were down all day. 71 & Sunny today

i hear there is a tsb out for the remotes. they should go farther than 20-25 ft. mine works from about half a block away.
