Yes! I myself like the snow and, believe it or not, sometimes it IS nice to have a huge snowfall that brings everything to a stop. I mean, this particular storm wouldn't have gone that far for us in the first place, but once and a while a crippling snow storm is very much welcome, which we haven't had in a while actually.

Thanks Matt & `David for your reply...
Couldn't you just close your drapes/blinds & shut off the power supply to your home or go & sit in your freezer ~>

I guess I can't relate by never being in a snow state...I think snow is very beautiful & covers all the bad, but it's not so good looking when it melts & gets all dirty looking ...I do look forward to visiting a snow state in my future, but I really want to attempt to snow board or try some winter sports....

I wish those that want snow ( a lot of snow)...I just desire SunShine & warmth

Wish you & member's a happy/safe day & weekend...EnJoy
p.s. We's Blog'in 2day (LOL)

Snowboarding is very similar to surfing. My sister started snowboarding a few years ago and loves it. I wakeboard and kneeboard but haven't tried snowboarding yet.

Good morning all!

No snow here in KY for which I am thankful. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice.

I am ready for Spring except for the mowing grass part..

Good mornin' all & TGIF!

You guys complaining about not getting any snow are a bit premature. The storm coming down from the North hasn't collided with the storm from the South yet. When it does the results are predicted to be similar to the blizzard of '78. Just be patient...you'll get your snow. Maybe more than you're prepared for...

I thought I'd share these pictures from last week of the St. Joseph, MI Lighthouse on Lake Michigan completely covered in ice. First one is on Pure Michigan's Facebook page.

Yes the Northeast will get their snow but we're talking the Great Lakes region, not the Northeast. It's already moved through Michigan for the most part. Our area didn't get near what was forecasted and we won't get much more than what's already fallen.

Even looking at the forecast now, for the Northeast, the snow totals are dropping from what was initially forecasted. Although, I do realize that all depended on how the two systems moved with respect to one another which is hard to predict.
