Drying out my passenger Side carpet after who knows how long of the blower motor leaking water. I fixed the weather stripping with the replacement deflector cowl but its pretty wet and was even frozen today. Got it thawed and mostly dried with towels. Now I have a heater in there hopefully finishing it up.

Happy friday. Spent the day looking for the cause of my data link malfunction. Still no luck. Probably going to have to start replacing computers.

Ouch, shooting data wires is no fun. Might wanna look at the wiring diagrams. What exactly are the problems you are getting? I remember the TICS issues but are you having some other codes and symptoms?

Good afternoon all, just relaxing here at home....

Got my fog light LEDs, they weren't 'true' 880's, so I have to get new ones.

Possibly going to get some flowmasters, but we'll see if the deal goes through here.

going to work on some 'custom' roof rails tomorrow hopefully as well

C1248
Dynamic rear proportion disabled

C1254
Abnormal shutdown detected

C1298
Powertrain control module class 2 serial data link malfunction

U1040
Loss of ebcm/ebtcm communication

U1040 is cause for the other 3. I saw a diagram somewhere and I thought I saw a time relay that cash be replaced but I have yet to find the brake control module\traction control module. Pcm and abs control module are fine as far as I can tell. If it were those I'd see codes for them. I replaced a bad hub and that got rid of 10 codes but I still have those. I've got diagnostic overview charts and they point to either no power, bad ground, or internal failure. So it would really help if I could find the Damn thing haha.
