The ones I got are used anyway...the jr I got the tires/rims off of had some strange inner tire wear I'm assuming from a 130k mile original suspension..Got them for a steal, I really can't complain.

Nah, she still shifts as strong as she did the first day I got it. I've been gentle since!!! I've had older generation 3800's with even worse condition and still didn't blow the trans. My buick? that poor car...I ripped that thing everywere I go...and my 190k bonneville took quite the beating too..unfortunatly that one died from other issues not from beating the snot out of it..never taken care of before hand, nasty oil sludge and oil pump was shot.

afternoon folks. looks like another nice day outside, gonna head to the bank in a bit so i've got some cash for the meet this sunday

i'm also happy because i FINALLY got my "new" chainsaw running. it's a '99 husqvarna 55 rancher that i'm planning to use cutting firewood this fall (most of my vintage saws are just too damn heavy and tough to get parts for to try and use all day). i've had the husky for over a year tinkering with it, it was given to me after spending a week in a flooded basement. fired up last night and ran GREAT! now i just need a ton of small parts so it's usable.

Hope everyone is having a good afternoon and getting ready the weekend. My band is scheduled to play at a sidewalk sale/community gathering, so looking forward to rocking the place only problem is that it is from 11am to 3pm and that is kind of early to be playing music, so we are going to have to tame down our set but we have always been quite adept at changing to the crowds taste when we play.

Would rather be going to a car show or something along those lines, but not much happening in my area that way this weekend anyways. SO with any luck I will get the polisher out and give my cars the once over wash/wax/polish/paint sealer treatment which is always a nice relaxing afternoon
