update, the device needed a pin number, i found online it said to use 6978, i entered 6789 by mistake and that was it
So its finally working and wow it has alot of information, did a 9.7 0-60 and an 11.x 1/8 mile

Afternoon guys. Found me a new head unit for the truck (and new speakers). I'll probably be back up to Electronic Express to buy em later today or tomorrow. That, in addition to replacing the fuel line on the Camaro and the thermostat on the truck, should keep me busy for the weekend.
The headunit has bluetooth, meaning I can sync my phone up to it and play music from my phone through the truck's stereo. You can even control it from the head unit. Now THAT is pretty awesome. I played with the display model at the store and was fascinated with it LOL. Only thing I'll have to do with the phone is open up the app and select my playlist. I really am easily amused haha.

Lol my OBDII scanner hasn't moved in months. Other than the 4 or 5 months I owned the Monte, I haven't owned an OBDII vehicle since November 2009 when I totalled my GTP. The truck has OBDI and the Camaro is old enough it didn't even come from the factory with a cat LOL.
My Headlights just came in along with my Thrush mufflers this past Tuesday. I want to go get them tomorrow but I won't have free time until this coming Tuesday then. Then I have to wait until friday to get paid to get them install (Mufflers). But as for today I'm at work as usually 2-10 creeping around MCF (^_^).

Afternoon everyone. Been a crazy week for me. Lots of studying and homework. I no longer have a "normal" sleep pattern lol.. Stay up til 3am doing homework then sleep for a few hours then make it through class and work then sleep a few hours, more homework, repeat. Not much time for anything, really made the week flyby too. Glad there's only a few weeks left.
Finally got my Ninja fixed so I'm thinking I'm gonna go for a ride soon. Put it on craigslist yesterday and have had about 15 people interested in less than 24 hours lol.. Hoping someone will come get it tonight or tomorrow. I'd really like to be riding a Harley soon

Have you been on a Harley? If not, don't be surprised by how much more work is involved in the twisties. I didn't realize how much effort it took muscling my Sportster through corners until I rode a bike with better maneuverability. With the Sportster having a shorter wheelbase I thought it would handle better. But it's still a cruiser, and cruisers like going in a straight line best. I still had a blast with it for 5 years, but my riding evolved over the years. I happiest on a sport touring bike now.
