Thanks Space! Yes, it is very nice to have it sitting there waiting for me whenever I want it. Definitely brings a smile to my face every time I push the start button.

Good afternoon everybody! I hope everybody is having a great day. I am a little late checking in, they actually expected me to work at work today...crazy!

My wife took my Monte on a road trip to Richmond today. As she was heading up I85 some young boys in a late 70's Monte that was primered pulled up on her and was making eyes and gestures at her. She realized that they were admiring her (my) SS. So she floored ol Taz63 and dusted em. When she backed off and they caught up she said they spent the next 10 or so miles taking pics and ask her to wind it up so they could here it. So she entertained them.

I think it made her feel pretty good. I hope she didn't abuse it too bad, thats my job!

Maybe now she will buy me that supercharger for Christmas!!

Yes Space I have a good Hot Rod wife. She's a good woman. She has been after me to get her a Mustang. We have the whole Ford vs Chevy battle going. One day I want to surprise her with a Mustang or an old Cougar. I like the old Cougar even if it is a Ford. HaHa!

I hope all the MCF members have a great Friday and weekend! Keep the wheels spinning and the Beavers grinning!

See yall later

Hi `Tommy & thanks for your reply. When I was younger I used to wash & detail one of the senior citizens Mercury Cougar like the below one... I think it was a 68 with a V8 & standard transmission...He drove it fast, but kept it like it just came off the showroom floor.

He passed away & one of his children got it..

I tried to get her to move, but she just kept standing there >
