Yeah 2014 has been a chasers year from hell, tornadoes have been spawning in the least likely areas and all the most likely areas where they flock to aren't producing!

Truck gets me to and from work, but it's getting to the point where I'm going to have to replace a ton of stuff. Since I can't use it to do the towing my family needs, it's time for a heavy duty truck. She's done well for me, I have almost 300k on her, but all good things must come to an end. My next one will be a 3/4 ton (unless it's a Nissan Titan) and if I get a 3/4 ton, it'll probably either have a big block or (if I can afford it) a Duramax. The big reason the Nissan is still on my radar is it's rated to tow over 9,000 lbs.
With me being close to family and helping on the farm, towing capacity is non-negotiable in my next truck. The 2000-06 496 ci big blocks get similar fuel mileage to my current one with its old tired gutless 350 TBI so it wouldn't be a huge hit in fuel costs, and you can damn near pull a house off its foundation with it.

Happy Friday everyone. I didnt even realize it was Friday the 13th. Another day of work today and I start soon. I am hoping the rain starts to go away today because it rained all yesterday for the most part. Well only to day and tomorrow then I am off another day, can't wait.

As for the rain, no such luck today cold front is coming through this afternoon but the weekend looks awesome for the north east!
Yeah I figured more rain and I saw the weekend looks nice but of course for Saturday I work a late shift but I am off Sunday so glad for that too.

I love my 2004 Silverado...
its a 5.3 Z-71 4x4 and it tows my 30' 5th wheel all over the country! I wouldn't trade it for the world...

well my friday the 13th bad luck has already started...the second largest aircraft engine manufacturer in the world managed to short me 1200 dollars so my main goal this morning is to get my money...not a great morning.
