Good Morning Friends.
Working from home today on HONDA EDI Project. Afraid this will be the 1st deadline I will not make in my 15 years at the company.
We have a 20 year old ERP system and I can just not match the Honda specifications for EDI. May have to suggest to the boss Honda's On-line EDI alternative.
We are in the process of a project to replace our ERP system - I just don't see the practicality of fighting with Honda's specifications when my platform is going away.
Feeling defeated today

We can only do the best that we can `do with what we have to work with...Don't let it get you down & just keep doing the best that you can with what you have to work with..
I do it all the time on my work projects & in life.
It's like racing a older six cylinder Corvette & trying to win a Race against a new Z07 StingRay....

A company has to give you the right tools & equipment to do modern day tasks. Just keep doing your best & don't let the limits of your companies equipment drag you down & affect your life or holiday season. Just keep dreaming of your retirement & happier days when your mission @ work is finished to the best of your abilities.

Thanks Space. I guess suggesting Honda's Web alternative is not really a defeat. It is advertised as being simplified does the EDI, shipping labels and invoicing and returnable container tracking (very complex with Honda)
I just feel it would be easier for the guys on the shop floor to use than anything I could write on our system.
The new system we are moving to eventually is Honda certified and some our other plants are using it they did not have to under go this testing with Honda that I am doing; because my system is too old and not Honda certified
Guess really not a fail on my part?
