You wanna know why people do these awful things to their cars?? Because, they are immature attention ******. No joke here, they want everyone looking at them saying, "Wow, he must be really COOL!" The ones that are leaning SOOOOOO far over, that it looks like there is only a passenger and no driver. Those kind of people are the "all eyes on me" type of people, the ones that try to be "cool". Come on, its not 6th grade anymore.
SHAZAAMMMM!!

LOL "We do them the right way" LOL
Look at the rear suspension. Look at the trailing arms and the upper links. If that thing hit a bump hard enough it would drive the axle backwards as the rear suspension compressed and probably right into the quarter panel. Thats a real nice way to rip the yoke right out of the transmission as well.

I've seen a local 4th gen a while back, that was lifted that high, & maybe higher! Had pro'ly 33" tires on it! BUT! It had a differential under the front end. It was/is obviously sitting on a Blazer chassis. Now THAT is "redneck"!
There are several cars in the area that have been put on 4x4 chassis. Pretty easy to do, from what I understand.
But the pic' opening the thread? NOT for me! Put some 44" mud tires on it n it MIGHT look better.

and i asked someone about the lifted back end. he said somehting about it made it look like it needed to be that high so the back end could drop without scraping. you know saying it had to much power to be that low to the ground. the guy i asked said,"they didnt have the techincal suspension we have today, and the more powerful cars had to be lifted back then to rpevent scraping the ground."

I some what agree with one of these previous posts.
They do it for attention, and I guess cause they like it... Why, IDK? But seriously, if you drive around some shady neighborhoods you see these types of cars parked outside rank apartment complexes and houses that look like they should be bull dozed because they're such an unkempt eye sore. The thing is though, people don't usually see their houses, but they do see the cars they drive around every where. So who cares, what the house they live in looks like. Let's spend thousands of dollars on a car that isn't worth the $5,000 paint job and wheels that are put on it so we can be seen as "Ballerz" when they're driving around town with rust rattling off the frame because of their stolen sound system.
