Ford Rant

I am not an avid fan of the Ford Motor Company, and I have one simple comment. Why do I see Ford Advertisements all over a CHEVY Monte Carlo website? I just find it funny and weird that I see them all over. Just thought I would point that out.

Hi Captain,
We have no control over the ad's that supports the multitude
of forums. I just look @ it this way : When I see
them on a Monte Carlo Forum Site, I just think it's a
reminder to Member's how fortunately they are
to own & be driving the AWESOME
CHEVROLET `Monte Carlo

We don't bash other Cars, we are just happy
to love the Monte Carlo more : )

It was announced today that the Ford Motor Company has purchased the rights to the name "Monte Carlo". The Ford Monte Carlo will replace the Ford Fusion in 2011.

Okay, really. Here's the deal. The site is free to members, so the owners need to make money some how. The solution is ads by google. The way google's ads work, is they take key words from our posts, and insert ads according to those key words.

That's why a lot of us will type certain words wrong. A lot of members use "Ferd", "Furd", "rustang" and so on.

If we did a thread that talked strictly about Christmas trees, you'd probably get ads geared towards Christmas stuff.
