Srsly? Never seen a Mopey with a SBC under the hood. Don't see many of them in NC in the first place, but still.... usually Mopar guys are so hardcore they would throw up if a SBC part was even in the interior to take home and put in another car.

There are lots of old Mopars with sbc's under the hood. I hate to see it.
When I lived in Vermont I went to a car show and saw a beautiful 55 Chevy BelAir sitting on the show field. I got to the car as he was setting up. It was a nice dark metallic green with a medium green tweed interior. It was a really nice car with lots of detail. I was talking to the owner as he was very proud of his car. He has started with a rust bucket and had done all the work himself and I think he said it took him ten years to complete. The car had a flip nose on it that had electric motors and screws that made the nose flip forward. Under the hood was a Ford 351. On the pinstripeing was a blue oval toward the tail of the car.

I know a guy around here who is dead serious about SBF engines. He took an S-10 as payment for some work, and put a 351 W in it too. Then I was at a car show and saw a sticker one a guys 93 Chevy Silverado that said "Power by Ford" with a "by GM Goodwrench" sticker on the other end of his tail gate. Sure enough, another SBF under it.
Never seen a Mopar with a SBC in all my time though. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that. I've seen them put modern Ram engines in the older stuff ebcause no one knows how to tune those old Mopar engines, but never a SBC in one. But most Mopar people in NC would nail you to the cross if you even hauled a SBC starter shim to a buddy who had a Chevrolet in your Mopar.
