I think it's a great look for hotrods. But not on brand new muscle cars or luxury cars; like you mentioned it being available on the BMW.

The fact that it's more work to wash is another thing I don't like. I'm always finding bird droppings on my car every other day.

I can understand some people liking it. Like already mentioned, it makes the car look like a Batmobile. And who wouldn't enjoy driving the Batmobile around? I've seen a new Camaro painted like that around town here. People either really like it, or they think it looks like primer.

Not everybody is going to like everything. If you like the look of it, go for it. Obviously some other people like it, or GM wouldn't be offering it. But it's a color that you have to see up close to appreciate. From far away or driving by, it gets lost in the huge mix of black cars. At least the Camaro I saw did.

How does one not like a more durable clearcoat? You can't see a difference... Mercedes is the only manufacturer that uses it OEM because of the cost.

I dont like it and cant understand why anyone would spend the money for it. As stated, they just have money to burn I guess. We all are entitled to our opinions and if we all liked the same things, life would be boring.

if anything happens to the clear then it is impossible to buff out. You know things are never as they are advertised so i really doubt that is is unscratchable just hard as a rock.

There is a Menzerna abrasive polish you have to use to buff it. It is more difficult to buff but that is also the point, there is hardly a need to buff. I agree some people just have money to burn so why not.

i bet when you buff that clear it would swirl up like crazy and be a pain to polish out. but that is just my guess
