That red prototype is sweet. I was just talking a bout them bringing back the elcamino yesterday.

 

The Maloo R8, I'd take it in black, and probably "Murder it out" with black tints, and black rims...

Here in the states it's not so practical of a vehicle...most want a G8, or even better a G8 Wagon.

Rumors are the only way it would come here, is if gas prices continue to soar, most who need trucks/beds with look for more economic vehicles, and while this maybe high on gas compared to a typical car, it would be better then a standard sized pick up truck, and provide the same functionality with the back bed.

For me, most say they can't see me in a truck or something with a bed in it. I admit for me it would not be something I would use to halt things in, I just think it looks coolr as hell lol.

I've always liked the El camino's & there's still some super ones out there...One older man has one in Sebastian like below with a 396 all stock all optioned & only has about 24K miles on it.

He said he may sell it someday, and I told him to contact me `if he does...He has many rides in his collection. He's retired & must be in his mid 70's now.
I think they would be a great truck for carrying Surf Boards : ) & getting 2 the ocean fast : )
