I hate it all my book marks are gone are at least I cant find them firefox 3 was much better. Anyone know how I can get it back??? Are find my book marks

your bookmarks should still be there...you have to enable the menu bar.

i have 4 on my work laptop, but i still have 3 on my desktop....im not really feeling 4, i feel like they tried to bury the coolness under a pile of crap...


you should still be able to find 3, you will have to uninstall 4 first though, so your bookmarks may get deleted during the uninstall...

TechTip: ALWAYS backup your favorites/bookmarks BEFORE you make ANY changes...updates/upgrades can all hose you if you do not prepare beforehand...

 

I have 4 on all my PCs and it works wonderfully.

 

no argument on how well it works, my beef is with how they changed everything around so drastically... i guess it's just the learning curve...

i hated Win Vista/7 for the very same reason...now i would trade my win7 for anything! (vistas level of suck is caused by more than just the redesign..)

 

You can make FF4 look how it did before the update. Tabs under the address bar, menu bar too. It's pretty simple.

 

no clue on most of what is being said in this thread, but I did do an update and some things on my pc are now a little goofy right now....... I'm totally clueless, I just hit the keys to find what I'm looking for most of the time.

 

got ff4 downloaded on my work comp today but can't do a number of things becuase i can't install the plug in's becuase i'm not an admin....grrrr

 

Found the bookmarks and tool bar all I had to do was right click at the top of the page and there they were.
