Default Enemy Territory

I am a proud 2006 Dodge Charger owner who has always been a big Chevy fan. I know I am in enemy territory but I really like the Monte Carlo, and I would like to learn a little about it's performance and see what kinds of mods you guys are doing with it. I have yet to meet up with one on the street. Looking forward to a little friendly stop light runs.

I am waiting for the Challenger to hit the market!! I never could quite get past a four door Charger.

Have you guy's heard any proposed production drive train line up for the Challenger yet?

I heard they are thinking of the 340hp hemi standard, an optional 425hp hemi, and possibly and optional 250hp V6. I also heard of possible production dates of 2007 and 2009. I had a 72 Challenger in my younger days, the new one is damn close looking to a 70 model. If they really build it my Monte will have to learn to share the driveway.

I second that!!! Although I am waiting to see what the Camaro will look like too. But I like the coke bottle look of the Charger past and proposed.

I don't like the proposed Camaro, or new Mustang. They claim to be retro yet the only real similarity is the name, grill and tail lights. The Challenger looks almost identical to a 1970 model from the side, front, and back. Other than the lack of chrome bumpers front and rear views are damn close to original. They even copied the original exhaust tips.

I'm waiting for the Challanger to come out too! I'm not too fond of the 4door charger. I would never buy a 4door - coupe all the way. GM ruined the Grand Prix by dropping the coupe. At least Chevy kept the Monte for 06 - not a big fan of the front end though. I love having an almost full size coupe!
