What the heck is the deal with roof rails? Why do people covet them so much?

 

They do add an extra touch to the roof line. They resemble the roof rails on Nascar racecars. But I also think there's a bit of the idea that people want something they don't have. Monte's never came with the roof rails. The Grand Prix's did. And only certain GP's got them, not all of them. Which makes them even more rare. People like having something that's rare and unique.

I have a set that I haven't installed yet. Still deciding what I want to do. Currently mine are painted purple. They came off of an anniversary edition GP. So I would have to paint mine if I install them.

 

I like my roof rails, don't agree with the price but I like the way they look on the car

Very nice car. But the two signatures are not worth the extra $15,000+ he added to the asking price.

 

Exactly it's just a used low mileage pace car but like most ppl think it signed so it's worth a ton

I got roof rails also not sure what im going to do but I dont want to just paint them black

 

Crap those headrests are in my area Heres a mint 5th gen but overkill on the price, i'd rather pick up a 6th gen for that money
