Yes that lightning was an actual lightning Taz, I could see the heat exchanger behind the bumper so it was supercharged Lol 
it was an old man driving so Lou's right on older guys liking chrome on their cars and truck lol
Me, I hate chrome!!
it only looks ok if its from factory... e.g. The newer caddies, or most caddies I should say lol I actually like it on the newer Escalades 
but if you're going to add chrome stick ons then you're just going to make your car into a chrome ugly turd :p
I'm Mexican (if some of y'all don't know) and the majority of cars or mostly trucks I see are covered in chrome, and whose behind the wheel?... A Mexican
but I'm not saying its just Mexicans since I've seen many black people and white people do the same thing lol like that dodge I posted, it's an older black man that drives it :p I just don't understand how people love to add all that chrome to their vehicles

I highly doubt the base car is a Monte. It looks way too tiny to be one.

saw this lightning a while back, talk about giving it the chrome treatment lol check out that chrome hood scoop and "limited edition" emblems!!
and it reads "bad *** boys drive bad *** toys" on the rear window 
Mitch, thanks for posting more pics/info on that Corvette-looking THING. I kinda figured it had to be a modified 4 door, just from the size of the passenger door. Too narrow to be a two door car. That car is just hideous. If Captain America took a crap, it would look like that.
As for chrome...
If a car was designed to look good with chrome, it would've come with chrome from the factory. Most classics look good with chrome. But that doesn't make it okay to start putting every chrome colored piece of sh*t add-on you find at Autozone, on your classic Chevy.
Most modern cars don't look good with chrome. A 1998 Monte would look real stupid with a 1970's style chrome bumper. For a modern car, if you want to put chrome on it, I would stick with exhaust tips and maybe wheels. Trucks look okay with chrome bumpers, grill, and maybe sideview mirrors. But only if you want to go with a classier look. If it's a work truck or for a sportier look, stick with body color and such.
