Premise: That maniac who nearly ran you off the road on your way to work may have been racing for his life. He could have been, say, Alex Tully, a man forced into this illegal and potentially deadly cross-country road race in a desperate bid to locate his missing ex-wife, accompanied by mysterious stowaway Corinna Wiles. Other drivers include Wendy Patrakas, an abused wife competing for the safety of her newborn baby; John Trimble, an uptight scientist hoping to bond with his surly teenage daughter, Violet; Winston Salazar, who hopes to make a break from his shady past while getting to know his newly discovered half-brother, Sean; Ellie Howe, who is racing in a bid to keep her boyfriend, Rob Laird, from being sent back to Iraq; and Hurricane Katrina survivors Ivy Chitty, Leigh Barnthouse and Susan Chamblee, who dream of using the jackpot to help rebuild New Orleans and their own lives. None of them knows exactly who he is racing against, or even where the finish line is -- and Mr. Bright, the smiling but sinister liaison for The Race isn't giving up any secrets.

yah it was an awesome first 2 episodes...for some reason they aired it on friday on CTV up here so i watched it on friday awesome show ...i really liked it

 

Tape is in the VCR. :-)

 

Alright, just finished the pilot episode. I'm so going to need a DVR to get that and Pinks.

I watched the first episode but had to skip out on the second because the Sopranos were on.
