Hi `Chris,
Thanks for your contributions & for this thread. I don't really believe in these type of test, but I do believe they are good to remind everyone that we each only get so many days in life, and that no one is promised a tomorrow.
To me, it is a reminder to extract the most from each day that I am given 4-Sure..
I do believe that the member's that seen your thread & took the test thought about their human `life & how much time they may have left in Life ? "A reminder to live your `Now"
What `if ?

I have to agree with something Duane brought up. It doesn't take future and present day advancements into account. Like the medical advancements Duane mentioned.
But I'm also thinking about changes in nutritional health. I know the survey asked about eating your veggies. But what about the other stuff? Like salt, and cooking with grease, butter, etc.
For my dad's generation and earlier, a nutritious breakfast consisted of bacon, eggs, toast and butter/jam, and either coffee, juice, or milk to drink. And it was all cooked in grease in a frying pan. And don't forget to put some salt on those bacon and eggs.
Most people eat healthier now. Even fast food chains have changed over the years. And changing to a healthier lifestyle will extend your life. Usually.

Rick, my family does also. But that gets into the point I was attempting to make earlier. Most of the people in my family with heart problems, had them because of their diet. Spent most of their life eating greasy, high-fat foods with lots of salt and butter.
For example, if your dad ate nothing but greasy cheese burgers all of his life. And had heart problems because of it. If you eat healthy all your life, you're most likely not going to have the same heart problems he had. Longevity tests don't take that into account. They simply ask if your family has a history of heart problems.
That's one reason I can't take these tests seriously.

That's no lie at all. I'd just as soon have cancer than that. My grandmother had it and just passed on this past February with a stroke related to the illness.... she fought it for 10 years. I can remember her as a child, remember her slowly getting worse through my own adolescence, and passing on this year. You'd never think you'd pray someone would die, and you'll never understand why until a loved one has this. They're gone, they don't recognize anyone, they can't say or do anything, yet they're alive... that's no way to live. I know what I said sounds cold... but unless a loved one of yours has had it and you watched them go from the person you know to the final stages of it, then you can't convince me you wouldn't pray for their own sake that they would just go on as well.
