Does anyone else have this problem...?

Yes and No. I like that they are reflective color of orange changes thought the day but they have a couple of downfalls
#1 is that they are starting to lift by the bottom of the spoiler (third eye brake light )
#2 is the color of orange they are now it is a hugger orange but there is not much red in it and that makes my red taillights stand out like a sore thumb and do not match anything on the car and that will cost me around $300 to change the taillights ot to some with less red or to tint the black /new paint has More red in it and will pull the hole car together front to back
#3 pain in the *** to wax the car you can only use wax the is safe for vinyl or it will dry it out and make it check and you really only can had wax if you are going to be safe and not hurt the vinyl or cause lifting of the decal ( buffer here ) pain in the *** to clay bar around also on a side note
I love my car striped and would not go back to just the white ever but going to shows and having to clean it all the time all the extra time for a mediocre stripe on what I think is a above average car is not working for me and right now I have the money to do it so why not and I have to paint the rest to make it all inferno orange metallic flake .I don't want 2 kinds of orange on the car.
Wow when I type it all out and look at it like this I am a car NUT!! LOL!!
Edit: sorry for hijacking your thread man

I used to want to do a lot ot my car, but I realized that I wasn't really using the power, so there wasn't a lot of need to build it up. I like the radio that came in the car, I mostly listen to talk radio, so I don't need a big base for that. Yeah, I'm getitng old and boring.
Hang on, I got to go chase the kids off the lawn...
Okay, back. Once I got the Torino and started restoring it, I kind of quit worrying about the Monte Carlo. It's a great car as it is, just keeping it cleaned, waxed, and full of oil and gas. I got tired of chasing my tail around with all the little mods on that Monte Carlo. AS quick as you get one thing, you want another. The Torino, I've pretty much gotten to hwere I'm happy driving and waxing it. It's all finished, still needs a little tuning on it here and there though. The Monte is in great shape, I may repaint it next year, but I'm not sure.

Yup but I may have mine just stop at the bottom of the spoiler instead of wrapping them around the bottom like you did just to make the stripes different than yours (make them unique to my car) and that way I am not copying yours 100%
