Do you work today?
Today, being February 17th 2014, is a holiday for the vast majority of the MCF members. American members have President's Day. Canadians have Family Day. Some members work, some member don't. Which are you?

I goofed the thread. It was supposed to have a poll with 6 options:
Presidents Day - did not work
Presidents Day - worked
Family Day - did not work
Family Day - worked
Neither American or Canadian - no holiday
I never work
edit: fixed

LoL `Brent, I started to add a poll 4 U, but you beat me to it.
Great Thread & thanks for creating some great activity for the MCF
I work everyday Some days I get paid and some I don't. It's the way I've been programed >
I have to work everyday & pay my taxes so our government doesn't collapse (LOL) We owe, we owe & off to work I `go >

As you may or maynot know ...
I am retired on disability. (I don't work..any longer)
However,
When I was working... No matter what job I had Presidents day was just another day at work...
My wife works for a Major Casino here in Detroit...
There are no days off for any holidays there either.
We still have trash pickup.. (on presidents day)
But no snail mail delivery...
Does that make sense?

I'm supposed to be off work, but this is my week for being on call, so I get to work, well at 4:30 it will be 72 hours straight and continues 24 hrs a day until this coming friday @4:30 and they don't compensate me much for pay, I think it works out to about 16 cents an hour for the hours between 4:30 pm and 8:30 am all week.
Only positive is that I get a paid day off in lieu of today, but taking a day off at work can put me 3 days behind lol
