I work as a DJ and MC for many different types of events and have worked in entertainment for about 20 years but do not play an instrument. Also as a Karaoke host so I've sang a bit on occasion.

Do you have a collection of all types of music ? Do you take request ? What type of events do you get ?

I played drums all through high school. I was decent but don't have any recordings. I also play guitar although I'm out of practice since my guitar got stolen. Haven't replaced it yet but when I visited my g/f and her folks a few weeks ago I played hers a bit to knock some of the rust off. I've forgotten how to play a lot of stuff. I do enjoy karaoke but about the only thing I can really sing well is country music. I have one hell of a southern accent LOL. Last time I did it I apparently nailed "Hillbilly Deluxe" pretty well, especially considering I was drunk LOL.

 

I work for a company but have access to equipment whenever i need anything. I do have a large music collection built up over 20 years. I do all types of party's, weddings and festivals and even a few car shows. I has been a fun job but it has it's up's and down's like any job. I've also had the opportunity to work Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Fla. We work for several hotels down there and a few Night clubs. I hvent wen't down there in a few years tho because of the time frame. It just does not fit into my daily life and family life.

Hi Space; I can't play anything other than a radio but I play it loud. Lol. I want to learn to play piano and guitar. I love most types of music. No metal, rap, or hip hop. Most others are good. From Glen Miller to Steve Miller. I did want to start a DJ service and had about 1000 CD's. When I got divorced and the wife left, so did much of the collection. At least I kept my cars. When I was younger and my allergies were not bad I used to sing but not professionally. Working at Disney conflicts with running a DJ service. I work weekends and holidays.
