i prefer a manual trans over auto & i hate that flappy paddle shifting crap, every car ive owned besides the monte has been a stick

I am a valet so I had to learn how to. I always knew the basic concept of it. I always wanted to learn so my mom and I went to the Chevy dealership and "test drove" a camaro to try out my shifting skills. Now I can drive any car. And let me tell you, some of those cars.... WOW!

it is a lot of fun I was born and raised in Nebraska 25years (the flat lands )
and out here in Oregon we live on the Eastern side of the cascade mountain range (in the mountains) and love driving on all the mountain passes out here

i know there is mor but cant think of em. Love the manual!!! i will someday convert the monte!! i'm love how i can contol it more than an auto

I sometimes get the severe urge to drive a manual and I drive my monte like one. Start in the 1 then bump it up to 2, 3,ten Over Drive. Its good fun. I pretend there is a clutch too.

Yep. I find myself paying attention to my surroundings more when I drive a stick too.
