How many guns are in the USA
Answer
The FBI estimates that there are over 200 million privately-owned firearms in the US. If you add those owned by the military, law enforcement agencies and museums, there is probably about 1 gun per person in the country.
If you want to get a rough idea of how many guns there are out there just look at how many people you see out there then multiply by a factor of estimated ownership. The last best guess was about 350,000,000 Total. That would be 1 weapon for every man woman and child. The average gun enthusiast owns several firearms which includes pistols, shotguns, and rifles of all makes and models. It is often estimated that about 1 in 4 people own any firearms and on average firearms owners own 4 guns each.
The truth is that guns are not tracked well enough to get an accurate count of the total number in the US (thank goodness for that!). Suffice it to say that any would be tyrant should plan on stiff resistance from the american people should they turn against him. God Bless America!

I know a lot about weapons and when I'm 21 I will have a quick draw SERPA style set up next to my right leg with either a Glock 19 or FN 5-7.

i don't have a gun but i'm not against them either.
i think i do have a swiss army knife in my car, but not to use as a weapon.
besides, my car IS a weapon....if you don't get outta my way.

as soon as im old enuff to get that permit.... im not big into guns, do enjoy hunting deer with my buddies, but i want to be able to defend myself should the need arise.
my favorite event was when some punk tried to hold up a local fellow by his truck in the local wal-mart parking lot, the kid, a wannabe gangsta, pulled his 9mm and pointed it at the guy, i guess he did not expect the guy to reach under the seat of his truck and pull his colt 45 ACP and fire back! a rather spectacular gunfight ensued, ending with the kid being hit in the leg and limping off, at which point the local guy called 911 and told them to send an ambulence. the kid was later found in the brush on the edge of the parking lot. guy had his permit and judge ruled it self defence on his part, kid had a big ol list of charges...

LOL I have a pool cue in my car in a nice leather bag I agree wit space to that guns r....well not bad but abused to many dumb asses have guns. But I have no room to talk I have a list I want for my personal collection. I just hate hearin crazy **** like kid takes dads gun to school that's what I mean by to many dumb asses. But everyone shouldnt have to suffer for those PPP. Great topic LOL
