I don't have one yet but I think one is on the purchase horizon lol. I watch crash videos on YouTube all the time and then I think of how many close calls it had driving over the years and how valuable actual video footage would be in a court if needed to prove you were not at fault. The prices of them are very reasonable now so it won't b too much of an investment to get one for both vehicles. The hard part will be choosing which one is best bang for the buck and doesn't take up too much space on the dash or behind the rear view mirror

 

Hi `Ken, I don't have one, but like you I want to get one when I get my next car. I think it's a good investment with all the crazy + drunk/drugged drivers out there on the roads

That is the main reason I posted this thread with some of the latest reviews. I also think it would be fun to have certain special trips recorded to future enjoyment. I don't know if it reduces a persons insurance, but that would be another bonus. The new ones have many additional features. I know a few member's have them & I hope they notice this thread & comment.

I actually just got one for christmas, It's neat for sure i havnt used it much though because Monte is away for winter. will see more use in spring

I had one but it stopped working properly and i eventually got rid of it. Longer i had it the less interesting things it caught.

If I had one I would drive out to the legal nude beach & film (lol)... It's called Playlinda beach

Don't just sit there at your computer all day or night.. Get out there & record something (?) Do something different (?) Get a dash came & post your exciting adventures on the MCF

The one i had was a DVR-207 i believe. Was pretty decent until the internal battery stopped holding a charge and it would reset all the time. And it got baked in my car one day and it's shape morphed a bit lol
