Yes `Jon 4-Sure,
My grandfather is my best friend/mentor. He raised me since I was only a few weeks old. My mother dropped me `off & said she was going to get supplies, but has never returned....(I must have been a bad baby: )
My g/f is the only female BeachBum..We've been 2gether since I was 5 years old...(Her parents were killed in a auto accident & she was raised by her grandmother) When we met I told her I liked her & she hit me : ) She still does : ) She calls them love taps : ) LOL
We have been lucky/fortunate to have loving, caring senior citizen relatives take us in and raise us the old fashion ways...We are very thankful & love them all dearly 4-Sure...
They gave up a lot to take care of us, and it's our turn now.
That's my short story 4 today : )
We call it SpaceIsland (Indian River Co) Makes me homesick.
I miss being there & we miss being on the Ocean...Work keeps
taking us away...Not to much work in this area...It's all fun in the Sun : ) LOL

The Bum's have an apartment in Cocoa Beach & work the port unloading ships. They work days & I work nights (It sucks), but we still manage to get 2gether...Their works hours are weird...It depends on when the ships come in & how big they are...We are going to try 2 get 2gether to watch the NASCAR Race this Sunday...
I hope when U come 2 Florida that U R driving your BEAST.

1A is one of my favorite highways, cause it runs along the ocean. Cocoa Beach is a nice beach community, but it has a lot of tourist & can be expensive...I prefer Sabastian Inlet area.

`Lou, that would be one wild `Trip 4-Sure...I dream a lot about a Trip around N. America & hope that we can all get 2gether in the future....From my net trips I've learned that every area has it's good & bad, but North America sure has some beautiful places to travel/visit....I hope fuel is still availiable to travel...
The news report on the radio just stated that gas will be $5 a gallon by this summer
Maybe we will just have to Skateboard across the country
