A Transformers movie just isn’t a Transformers movie without some heavy General Motors product placement, so we’re not too surprised to learn one tricked-out 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will star as Bumblebee in Michael Bay’s upcoming Transformers 4 feature film.
Photos of the modified 2014 Chevrolet Camaro recently popped up on director Bay’s official webpage earlier this week, shortly after it was spied filming at General Motors’ proving grounds in Milford, Michigan. As was the case with the fifth-generation Camaros used in Transformers 2 and Transformers 3, the latest Bumblebee looks like a stock Camaro but incorporates some unique tweaks.
At first glance, the latest Bumblebee looks a bit like a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, thanks to the gaping lower front fascia, giant front splitter, and the ducktail rear spoiler perched atop the rear fenders – but there’s more going on here. The front fascia, although similar to the new facelifted 2014 Chevrolet Camaro front clip, boasts a thinner grille and LED headlamps, and large lower air intake that wraps around the beveled contours of the front bumper. Flared further add to the muscle-bound feel of the car, and rear fenders boast (presumably fake) brake cooling ducts. All this, along with the yellow-label Goodyear Eagle tires, ends this iteration of Camaro a Grand Am road racing vibe, although the tall ride height and ground clearance is likely more suited for occasional off-road pursuits instead of clipping apexes at a track.
Last we heard, Bumblebee would be portrayed in Transformers 4 by one wildly restomodded 1967 Camaro coupe – but, as we’ve seen in other installments of the Transformers series, the alien robots have the ability to alter their vehicular disguised from time to time. In the first movie, Bumblebee first hid as a rag-tag 1977 Camaro coupe before shifting into a modified form of the Camaro concept car. We expect a similar transformation to occur somewhere in the script, but won’t know for sure until Transformers 4 rolls into theatres next summer.

Hi Mr Lou Green & thanks for your post. I thought I made another useless thread & nobody was going to view it
. I'm finding it difficult to create interesting thread subjects for the forum.
I know space told me that our forum needs activity to keep our sponsor's happy
(because without sponsor's
there would be no MCF
Oh 'NO
We all would have to just come up to your house & hang 'out & eat & drink your food & beverages (LOL)
Peace-Out from Bum'Mike
