i believe this was built for dale earnhardt chevrolet in newton north carolina if i remember right they also made a 2004 dale earnhardt jr Daytona 500 champion edition as well.

if i remember right it was an old guy who bought it brand new and have over 300 collector cars and just had it in his collection, he had a jr one also that had 40 somethin miles on it and a gordon on that had 4000 miles on it. i think he might have had a stewart edition also.
