I think you're right Lou. But I have to think there were a few Earnhardt fans down at Coke, that took a couple of them home and have them in their garage. Especially an exec or two. Many company executives love to grab special edition promotional stuff like that. I'm betting there's at least a couple of those front panels mounted on people's garage wall. Or maybe even an office wall or two down at Coca-Cola.

In our repair shop at work, we have front panels from our old signs mounted to the shop walls and doors.

 

Another decent pace car signed. There were more than 101 of these werent there? Maybe this is a special pace car, I don't know.

there is a lady in town where i live that has one of those, she only drives it on nice days, she stores it in the winters and i have only seen her driving it in the rain a handful of times, its really nice and really cool. Before i bought my 01 i looked at one of these i think is was number 80 something and it had like 50,000 miles on it and they only wanted 9,000 for it. i wish i would of had the money then i would have loved to have it.

actually taz, those front covers where taken off the machines shortly after dale was killed, coke for awhile wouldnt let anyone have the covers they had them all stored in a warehouse. the last few years some have been released.

I really like the tires but doesn't it seem a bit over priced? My Pace Car was a lot cheaper with half that many miles? or did I just get a steal?

 

yea its a little high in price. My 01 had 28,000 on it when i got it and i paid $10,000 for it.

 

I really like the yellow emblems to go with the tires.

 

WAY overpriced. I paid a lot less for my 2003 Pace Car and it had 30,000 less miles on it too.
