Believe it or not I've seen this a few times before, some people will list the KBB and then their price is like 3 grand more and when I ask why its always well my subs are worth this or all the extras are this much, or the ever classic it has a new tranny and motor but I dont have the reciept ya right

Yeah, he did mention "upgraded audio system" or something like that. I'd tell him to keep it.

 

Yeah any cars I've tried to purchase or even ask for more info about I always say the stereo's irrelevant to me. Quite a few people were unwilling to sell their cars without the system or even lower the price and keep the system when I was looking for my first vehicle.

 

most people don't realize that the apraisal includes every thing on the car.The radio isn't extra on top of it system or not.

 

Yeah I have a feeling a lot of people don't know that. System or not I wouldn't haven't mentioned the appraisal if I wasn't happy with it/going to ask more for it and include that it has an upgraded audio system. Would have made more sense if the owner said something like it was appraised for XXXX dollars BEFORE such and such mods.

Not sure that I would ever buy a car that was highly modded or has a system already in it. (Takes all the fun out of it for me) I'm glad I got my monte with zero mods. I like knowing that what has been done has been done by me so I have no one but myself to blame if something goes wrong

Yea I would rather have a clean slate to work with too.
I was looking at some cars with a friend he wanted a running project. Came across a 85-86 olds cutless in good shape.guy wanted $7500 for it said it was apraised for $6000 but cuz he have 20's on it with a system it was worth a lot more than what he was selling for.

 

28000 is ridiculous 92 miles or not. I could see it being worth 12 maybe even 15 but it's not made of gold.

I like the white SS but wouldnt have put the appraisal in the ad.lol
