Too slow? 160hp/170tq in a car that weighs 2300 lbs?

It has the best power to weight ratio of all the hot hatches on the market right now (mini, veloster, golf, etc)

Also all of the reviews of the car mention that it's just the most fun you can have in a small car right now

(also I think with just a tune you can hit 200hp)

 

I had the opportunity to drive a mini cooper s just couple weeks ago, I've wanted one for quite a while, and it is certainly a fun car to drive, certainly not a muscle car, but like you say a great power to weight ratio, and while getting on the throttle doesn't feel like the monte does its still a quick responsive acceleration for sure. Driving one only made me want one even more, but it will be my 3rd or 4th car so its a ways off.

 

I was talking about the Abarth 500

 

It's fun when you put your foot in it - that equals lousy gas mileage. I was getting crappy gas mileage with the Cooper S - a little bit better than my 05 SS believe it or not.
