Default Chrysler Turbine Car

So i got to see the Chrysler Turbine today i must say its pretty sweet got a few pics & got to see it run kinda wish they woulda made em

You can thank me. LOL. 22k rpm at idle running temp 1400-1800 degrees. Thats probably why they didnt make them. If people dont change oil every 3k what makes you think they will do the maintenance on that beast?

That is so cool even tho it sounds like a big vacuum cleaner. It also cool that you got him to start it up. The last festival I worked had a Nascar show car display next to our stage and we finally got the guy to start it up. He wanted to but we had to wait for the district manager to leave.

Thats just bad sound quality. It sounds like a Jet. It starts slow builds and sounds like its ready for takeoff.

I thought it was funny that Jay Leno tryed to buy it about 15 years ago..

Yea, he has one now tho. Whats even funnier is they instantly said no and had to teach him how to work his. 135 hp and 465 lb feet of torque is very respectable for back then.
