Default Chop Shop: My first chop

Okay, I got a little over anxious and rushed this one an was dying to put it on another thread. I thought I would open this one up to show my first 5 minute chop and invite anyone else who is dying to show their first chop.

good try!! for lighter images...it is better to do a free-hand mask and draw all the way around the image you want to extract. The lasso mask wraps looks for a border of similar colours. When your subject is light-coloured and its backbround is also light...the lasso has a difficult time trying to make out the edges.

Keep up the good work!

Hey, Dave...is that the original factory installed position of the monte carlo LTZ badging on the trunk? I ask because it looks kinda high up, no?

or ya cheat amd make a copy of the layer then you use the background eraser to take out the big stuff.
then fre hand the other . when you bring the two layers back togeatehr it should allow you to have a nicer line.

Also you can readj. the layer color properties enough to make it stand out real good and then go at it this will allow you to see the contrast between them better.

Thanks for the tips,

Also, no that is not the factory installed "LTZ." In fact I mentioned it to the dealer and he said the someone tried to steal the LTZ off the lot and the lot tried to glue it back. I have an appointment to have it reinstalled at no charge.
