Default Choosing The Correct Block For Your LS Build

Figured this would be a good read.

The one sad part about that article is how they're saying some engines are getting rare to find these days due to how few are left.

I never understood the obsession with people trying to take and retake various SBE records while in the meantime burning through dozens of junkyard engines in the process. On any other platform once a general threshold of power handling for a SBE is established, people wanting to exceed that will upgrade the problematic areas as part of the build designed to exceed that threshold. But for the LS people, its like a challenge to see how much further they can push it before it blows.

Luckily there's getting to be a good following of aftermarket blocks out there that should continue to sustain builds into the indefinite future albeit at a substantially higher cost.
