That was my first real road trip in the Camaro. Finally broke 5000 miles on the car on the way home haha.

The Camaro averaged 32.5 MPGs both ways. Basically just cruised on the highways, was lucky I didn't hit any traffic. It was about 4.5 hours each way. Car was extremely comfortable. I even had someone sitting in the back seat and they didn't complain

^ Hi `Mike & thanks for your reply...That's excellent MPG's & a great endorsement for the 3.6L & for the Camaro Oh, did you have the a/c on? Did you have enough room in the trunk for all your stuff ?

WoW 5K miles already > How long have you had it ? What do you project that your yearly miles will `be ?

Which car rides better ? your Camaro or your Monte ?

Mornin' From Kansas! Nice cool Temps here. Feel really bad for people in
Colorado. That's a mess!
Just installed a new Optima Battery in the '98 MC LS. That had to be the longest install I ever did on a lousy Battery!! LoL. The old Car Quest lasted 9 yrs. !!
Anyhow now I have to call the 1-800-537-5140 to get the "Secret" to Unlock my CD/Radio !! Hope this works!!

Hope you all have a great day!

-Mark.

On the way down it was late at night so I had the windows cracked. On the way home I had the AC on because we were talking and didn't want to shout. But the weather was gorgeous, and the AC wasn't really needed.

Yep, plenty of room! I had 2 suitcases, my camera bag, a bookbag, a garment bag (for my suit and Jenna's dress) and another small carry bag.

Bought the car on March 30th, and picked it up April 1st. I thought everyone was going to think that it was an April's fools joke that I bought it

I guess I'll easily be under 10,000/year. As long as the Monte is actually running well next summer, I shouldn't be putting as many miles that I put on the Camaro this year.

Well obviously I love the ride of the Monte The Camaro is a really comfortable car, and since it's brand new the suspension is still in great shape. But I do love the ride of the Monte.

Hi `Mark,
Nine years is great for a battery. I hope your new Optima gives you as great or better reliability. Why was the install hard ? You can place a Optima side ways/upside down (LOL)

Yes, it's sad what Mother Nature is doing to the Boulder area of Colo. I made a thread with all the flooding & sadness..
Thanks for checking in & I wish you good luck on getting your secret code so you can enjoy your `tunes...

Wish you & Member's a safe/fun new Day > EnJoy
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thanks `Mike for all your answers...You passed the test 4-Sure LOL...It's another A+ post & answers by Admin `Mike

Default Optima Battery

Space,
The Battery Removal required structural Brace, Windshield Wiper Fluid receptical, Air Box removal. I kept losing these little rubber gromets that keep airbox in place! Went back together once okay - once I found the gromets!
Now I have to get the "Secret Code" for the Theftlock on radio/CD player... Fun !

Always something !! LOL!

Yes `Mark, If it's not one thing, it's another 4-Sure...It's never ending. Good thing that you shouldn't have to do a battery change for about another decade

Hey `Mark,

I don't know `if it will `do you any good, but it's something
to `do to keep you busy & out of trouble (LOL)

`Space U give me a Bad Headache 4-Sure
Good Luck `Mark on getting your code
