Default Cardomain Help

Well I tried to update my cardomain page today but Im having some trouble. I uploaded the photos to the "que" where it shows them as thumbnails and gives them a number, but I cant get them onto my actual page. Before, you used to have to type in a little code to get them to show up it would be like <# C> and that would be the photo, centered on the page. Now it shows the actual photos instead of the code and I cant get my photos onto the page. Any help would be appreciated.

I went into my cardomain page and went to edit the page. The layout in the edit screen looked exactly the way you described. I corrected a spelling mistake I noticed, and it f***ed up the entire layout of every picture. Now I have to try and figure this thing out too.

Well, thanks to Cardomain's "upgrade" my page is now f***ed up. [:@]

If anyone figures out how to work with Cardomain's new format, let us know.

I got a reply. They guy said to place your cursor in the page where you want the picture to appear then go up and double click the thumbnail of the picture you want and it will be placed on the page. Sounds easy right? Wrong. It still doesnt work. I e-mailed him back, lets hope he has a fix.

I found a spelling mistake, and decided to fix it. Big mistake. Shoulda left it mis-spelled. When I clicked on Save & View Page, all my pics were pushed all together. And all my typed descriptions were all put together into one big huge paragraph at the bottom of the page. [:@]

Don't know if you've seen my cardomain page before, but I used to have the pics alternating left and right justified. And the description for each was next to the pic. Their editting software just didn't want to co-operate with me.

I would type the description next to the pic where I wanted it, and when I clicked on save and view page, the description would end up 3 or 4 lines below the pic and partially hidden by the pic below it. Took meuntil 1:00 AMjust to get it to look the way it does now. It's not as good as it was originally, but it's the best I could do last night. Using the html coding button was no help either.

Cardomain better do something about their messed up editting software. You practically need to be a freakin computer genious to get your page to look the way you want it to.

Anymore spelling mistakes are being left the way they are.

My 2ยข worth.........

Cardomain has been jacked up for longer then this recent problem.

One of the reasons I stopped updating either of my web sites I have with them.

The MAIN reason is:
They gain the notoriety from the 300k plus cars/trucks posted on their web site and use it to their advantage. Which is the way it should be.
BUT............. they forget WHO is it that made them as large as they are. The members.
Yes you're going to have screw ups join and post bullzhit on they site. But the majority of members are decent people.

So, don't tell me what to do with my cars!!! Plain and simple.

Cardomain was fine (for editting and posting anyway) when I added more pics back in March of this year.

I don't know when they started this new editting software, but it blows!
