so i was thinking i wanna go to a few car shows, before the season is over. so i googled car shows in pa and this one came up

man i wanted to enter jack but ma girl pointed out that its not quite ready i.e. the doors interior panels are 2 diff shades of orange...i went and got the cheap orange. then my 2 front seats are still tan while the rest of the car is orange and black. so thats the only things that need to be done. The turnout for last year looked massive!

 

I think your Monte is ready for a car show. It's really unique in it's own right. I mean the odds of winning are probably not in your favor, as the odds of me winning are not in my favor. Some people just have those cars judges look for. 1950's early 60's trailer queens. Seems like they will always win top spot. I say just take it for the exposure and comraderie you may find with other car enthusiasts in your area. You need to be the forums OCTOBER Monte of the Month!! it's fitting, your Jack Skellington Monte. Who better deserves that slot for October than your Nightmare Before Christmas themed Monte Carlo!! Let us know if you went to the POPO benefit Car show.

 

X2 , IF I take my Monte , my corvette , or my 1940 chevy I go to have a fun time if I win ok if not no big deal it's was a fun time with a lot of nice cars..
I drove my 1940 chevy to a show in Evansville In.Aug 25, they had over 3,800 cars I had a nice time there.
I think you should go an have fun..

 

Should get that thing ready and head to high point with us October 6th!

popo event and thanks as well....I think I will go for sure but soon as I repaint my door I will enter, I agree that enter jus for the fun of it...but that bright orange on my driver door drives me nuts...any thing usefull to get that paint off people?

 

That date sounds familiar... I will have to check with my wife if we are free or not.

Maybe I will head up to that show! It is not even 10 miles from my apartment

i think imma get there early but gotta leave round 230 to get the girl, i hope to get some good pics of ya and ya ride, as well as a few with some pinup models...i currently run on a camera phone
