First of all if anyone takes a blanket statement like that offensive because of their current financial situation, that's their problem not mine. I didn't label or point a finger at anyone. What is tint? $250 tops? That's $25 a paycheck for 5 months. Hell a can of duplicolor plastic paint is $8 you can modify the heck out of your interior/engine bay for that. If people can't afford to personalize their car then that's one thing, but if they can't afford to do anything to a car that they purchased then they purchased a car too expensive for their means IMO. I mean if someone doesn't have a little extra money after their bills then they should sort their priorities out.

Secondly, if you can't/won't/don't do anything to your car to make it different and unique to you then you can't really call yourself an automobile enthusiast. You're just a driver, period. Nothing wrong with that either. Just it's not the same.

A lot of car shows here over look our cars no matter how modded they are.

True, I think it's the whole FWD Domestic coupe thing that gets them. It doesn't even sound right typing/saying it.
