Yeah the MotM voting around here is just about the same, so it's universal. Anything car related anymore has gone to this place that doesn't recognize wrench time or ingenuity, but trailer queens and cleanliness, IMO anything stock is impersonal, boring, and unless it's a classic or resto, do something already!

Side note: I'd give my left ******** for that CS blue Camaro.

 

Very nice pics - it was probably participant judging so if you belonged to a car club or had a lot of friends, those people got the votes. What counts is that you had a good time.

i wanted to see the pink corolla too lol. like pacerSS said stock is boring. only a few classic cars i dont mind stock but put new rims on it or something atleast. when i go to big car shows with 300 cars or so. and i see 25 stock 69 Camaros. thats boring

 

Great pics! My favorites are the tri-power Goat, the Grand National & the Chevelle. That blue Monte Carlo ain't too shabby lookin' either...but it ain't no pink grilled Toyota.

I love some prejudice judging!!! Seems like where I usually take my Ford to the shows, its Chevy biased judging though.....

 

Ill take the goat lol, may I ask a ? as a fellow Monte owner I love seeing other montes weather in good or bad shape I still have respect for all the fellow owners, we have usually one car show in the small town of Fayette, Iowa here and I was wondering do Montes really get much recognition around all the classic cars there? I mean theyre great looking cars but even I say what the heck when I see cars like 05 mustangs, 06 chargers and also out montes at car shows surrounded by such great historic cars, what I'm asking is if I were to enter my car in the car show next year would she even stand a chance among the usual old style camaros, chargers, fieros, chevelles, general lees etc etc?

Just a note on that...have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, some people don't have any extra money to mod their cars??? I had my monte for over a year before I was able to do anything to it but it still looked freakin gorgeous stock. To me that comment was kind of a low blow & insensitive to those who are not able financially to mod their cars
