Was it not originally men who came up with naming objects? And aren't they all supposed to be female?

With the exception of a few, like Monte Carlo (that can't be a girl! lol), I've always gone by that rule...

 

I've got real original names for my cars...let's see:

Kia Forte = The Forte
Monte Carlo = The Monte Carlo
Chrysler Minivan = That piece of ****
When I had my Silverado = That other piece of ****
When I had my Ranger = The Ranger

 

Which is exactly why I refuse to call my Monte, "Dale".

 

My 06 Monte is simply "Mistress", "A woman who has authority, control, or power, especially the female head of household, institution, or other establishment." I think that fits the car's appearance perfectly.

My 03 Monte was referred to as "Banana" because it was yellow. Pretty straight forward.

Have yet to come up with a name for the Cruze.

I dont know if you can really call or say its a name for my Monte... I just call it "The Z" ..(since its a Z-34)

 

One of the guys at worked named my, i picked it up that day and when i drove to work he met me in the parking lot and looked it over.
He said " woo wee that thing is Black Licorice!"
and i said "why?"
He said "Because it's so sweet!"
And Black Licorice just stuck, everyone at work calls it that and now all my friends do as well

 

I name my cars while driving them. The name that pops in my head is thier name like its talking to me. My Monte is named Annabelle. She loves to be driven hard.

I just call mine Nightmare...for many reasons...one for being a nightmare to work on.

 

I call my Monte, Frank. I don't why I called him Frank...usually guys give their cars girl names, cause they are their babies. And I just realized this has already been pointed out...
