Default Car care advice, tips and secrets

well, spring has sprung here in Athens, GA (sorta)

its gettin about time to get out in the driveway and detail the Chevy. anybody have any advice or tips or maybe some of your own personal secret rituals for keeping a clean shiny Monte?

also, whats YOUR opinions on Clay bars, waxing and electric buffers?

my grandpa used to buff all his cars with an electric buffer, and it always left em with a mirror finish. but the long term effects? does it swirl the paint, or leave it dull if not buffed regularly?

Thanks. Chris

Clay, Compound, Polish, and Wax.

After a while, without a REAL buffer, that stuff can take a long time. They are worth it, if you know how.

Check out autogeek.net and read a little about detailing. Guaranteed to learn a ton.
