Default Can't wait for summer

Winter SUX!!! New here and picked up my 04 SS last Saturday and haven't had a chance to clean it up or really look it over till yesterday. Got it all cleaned and waxed, cleaned and treated the interior with leather conditioner. Cleaned up like new with a good waxing, and was amazed with the results all tucked in the garage.

Wouldn't you know it it's going to snow tonight with 2/3 inches expected. Salty wet roads all over my hard work. Almost makes me wish I just bought a beater and not have to worry about it. I guess I could call a cab.

Can't wait for summer!!!

What are you talking about. It's been warm most of the time i've been here. 80 here today. But I wish my Monte was with me. When I get back home in May. Thats the 1st thing I'll do. Is take the cover off of her. Take the duster and make her all pretty and go for a nice ride

I can't wait to hear the V8 rumble again. I've got two projects right away this year. First, I've got my headlight project to work on and I also want to re adjust the positioning of my exhaust tips so they don't stick out as far as they currently sit.

I'm also certain I'll need a new set of tires sometime this summer. After lowering the car last August I was pretty busy thus ran without having the front end re aligned so the inner shoulder of both front tires is pretty much gone. I realized how bad it was back mid November when I changed the oil before putting the car in storage.

Rick, it's been pretty warm in Mexico too!

Hey Matt. going to be near 90 all week. Good thing is...It's a DRY heat . If we turn on the A/C its only for an hour or so Cause by then the Sun is setting. And you know. Once that happens it gets a lot cooler .

It's a balmy 34* outside with a high of 31* for today. I guess it could be worse, only got a dusting of snow not the 3/4 inches predicted. More snowfall to the north and east of us. Can't wait for warmer weather.

Yeah I can't wait either. It is snowing here today.

I have found out that Summer performance tires are not very safe to drive in cold weather. I need to get the first coat of wax on my car...

Yeah, it snowed a little bit here last night too. I can't wait until all the salt that's on the road goes away and I don't need to worry about my car rusting away if I don't wash it every other day

I guess I shouldn't complain too much compared to what others have to deal with during the winter months. The amount of snow we normally get would be a minor nuisance to most. Just seems the older I get the harder it is to deal with winter.
