What disappoints me is how Mike Helton, president of NASCAR, is supposed to be unbiased, yet talks quite in favor of Chevrolet over the other three manufacturers in this press conference...

Mustang has that indention down the sides like the real car has. The tail lgiht fascias and deck lids are unique. Roof line is a little sharper on the Mustang than the other two. It will be cool to finally ahve a Camaro v. Mustang on a NASCAR Track!!
No matter what though, none of htese drivers on the track today will be the first to win in a Camaro. I'm waiting to hear someone start talking about that. Tiny Lund won two races in a 1971 in a Camaro. When the manufacturers pulled out, NASCAR had as little as 15-20 teams showing up to ru nraces on the short tracks. They invited the Trans Am cars to join the fields with the cup cars... so Plymouth Roadurnners, Dodge Chargers, Ford Torinos, and Mercury Cyclones shared the track with Mustangs, AMC Javelins, Chevy Camaros, and Pontiac Firebirds.
Carl Edwards always said he wanted to be the first guy to win a NASCAR race in a Mustang. But Bobby Allison beat him to it when he won at Bowman Gray stadium in 1971.
