I am against bras on cars. Everyone I've seen ruins the paint plus they look horrible IMO

^ agreed, if you want to protect the paint on the front, you can go to the dealer and request installation of a clear bra. Its a clear vinyl they install on the hood and bumper to protect the paint from insects and road debris.

yeah. I was just wondering. It already has the clear plastic on the hood. Never seen one with it yet. I don't some what agree about them looking UGLY. But if your going on a trip. They just might do the job. Also. I'm looking into a rubber trunk mat that would fit my car. I'm looking into Weathertech.com . Looks like if i buy something they have for say a Tahoe. I'm going have to trim it to fit. BUT thats ok. I just want it nice & clean back there. Thanks

Are you looking for one that snaps together on the hood, or just slides on from the top?

But yea Im against them too. If your going on a long trip and set on saving the paint, good ol' painters tape on the panel gaps will work wonders.

What about the facing surfaces? Such as the front facia.

I know stone chips can lead to lots of trouble if left alone. So can deep scratches.

I can't see taping the entire front of my car every time I want to go on a raod trip. That could run in to some cash after a few trips and several rolls of tape.

I may be the lone wolf on this, I have used bra's on several vehicles in the past including my 03 Monte and a fan of them. If you are the type of person that regularly washes/waxes you should have little to worry about in regards to paint damage with the use of a bra.

I should also note that all bra's are not the same, a cheap one will certainly cause you grief and I would look at the dealer options before buying one elsewhere.
