Brand New Dodge Challenger
Last night I was helping my mother work when i looked about 100 yards down and seen the new Challenger. I didn't know they were out yet and it was a Hemi orange. It was sick, the guy was at a restaurant with his wife and kid and he said they called him yesterday morning and he went to go pick it up.
i know everybody doesn't have the money but it will kind of be a disgrace to get this car in a V6.

In the last couple weeks, I've seen car carriers driving around the city here loaded up with new Challenger's. About a 50/50 mix of orange ones and black ones.
I've even seen a local Chrysler dealer taking one for a test drive. The SRT8 sounds sick.

yea its gonna be the same as the chargers, magnums, and 300's as farf as models are concerned.
pricing is gonna be the same as well.
you can check out dodge.com to look at the challenger.
the car was actually kind of quiet from what i heard, though he really didn't get up on it.

I love the Challengers, I just don't understand why they'd come out with the top of the line model first and then introduce the lower end models later on. I heard the V6 is pretty powerful, like 250hp powerful. Not bad for a V6 I'd say.

I'd have to agree with you Chris. I always felt a muscle car should not have a watered down version.
Case in point is the Camaro V6. Nothing against V6 engines. I have a V6 in my Monte. But it always bugged me how Mustang GT owners would brag about all the Camaros they beat. Conveniently leaving out the part about most ofthem being V6 models.
As for the Challenger pricing, I heard that the SRT8 is selling for about $52,000 Canadian. Which is kinda pricing it out of most people's price range. If this is the real price, I don't see much of a future for the SRT8 Challenger. The V6 would then be a bigger seller IMO.

yeah kinda how the 09 vette will be $103,300 plus 1700 more for gas guzzler tax....i dont see too many of those being sold either. but as far as our cars having v6s our cars were never really deemed muscle cars, more or less they were deemed either family cars or cruizers. even the "ss" version had a watered down underpowered v8 but maybe someday the big wigs will realize this and stop ruining good cars
