Default Brake Rotors

I'm looking for some brake rotor input. I have an 05 Expedition. Rotors have been replaced and those planed. eventually after replace/repair the rotors warp (assume) and I get front end shake under braking. I need to replace them again and I'd like some recommendations. I'm shopping rock auto and I'd think 'daily driver' category is a good mix for what I need, but don't know quality brands.

Is this common w/ large SUV's or is there something else I need to be looking at too?

I may have found something that contributed to my issues. I'd never heard of 'bed-in' process. The symptoms are familiar w/ what I've been experiencing.

That's a decent vid. It's basically the way
I was taught.

The web is a great place to search for rotors & pads. The better the rotor or pads, the higher the price. It really depends on how you drive & in what type of traffic..
Yes, it pays to do your homework when
purchasing anything for your vehicle.
New pads & Rotors can be expensive.
Did you abuse your present ones ?
Good Luck on getting the ones that will
work for you...
Sometimes, many times when driving it's
very important to be able to STOP

The Expy is my wife's daily driver and we're both pretty conservative drivers (no hard starting/stopping). I don't think we 'abused' them. I'm definitely going to avoid 'economy' and pay attention to 'bedding-in' the brakes.

So I went with the Power Stop Brake Kit (POWER STOP KOE1934 Autospecialty By Power Stop 1-Click Daily Driver Brake Kits) from Rock Auto. Did the install a couple weeks ago and everything has been great. No issues installing, front shimmy gone. The ceramic brake pads feels slightly less grip than standard pads maybe, but still works great! The kit seemed well priced and early results would lead me to buy them again.

Great video and tip!
Thanks for sharing.

The only thing I don't like about ceramic pads is the dust.
