I agree with pretty much everything said so far. We have NO good choices this year. Seems worse than usual. I lean republican, but generally vote 3rd party for the president, cuz I cant bring myself to vote for either of the 2 turds running.

For an unbiased website, try ontheissues.org. It's about as unbiased as there is.

 

ah yes, i used ontheissues.com when i was doing a mock senate in my government class and to learn where candidates stand on the issues. however, i only used it to find out about candidates stance on issues, i don't know that you can use ontheissues.com to actually learn about the issues, buti could be wrong as i've never tried.

the media sucks. sarah palin is getting more coverage than mccain, maybe even more than obama but i don't monitor the television news closely enough to know if its that much. i guess with as old as mccain is, and the health problems he's already had, and plus your 70's are when you tend ot start having health problems, i guess Palin really would be a goodheart attack or fall away from the presidency.

 

That's not an accident. I think McCain knows he can't get the media to pay attention to him, so he's putting her out there on purpose.

Now that Saturday Night Live is doing spoofs of her, I'm guessing that we'll be seeing even more of her.
