I would expect that from any challenge that is put on by one of the companies in the challenge. Microsoft isn't completely stupid. They're not going to create a contest that they know they'll lose. They're gonna do what ever they have to, to make sure they win.

Kind of like the Pepsi challenge they did in the 80's. Don't get me wrong. I like pepsi better than coke. But you know pepsi isn't going to make it a 100% fair challenge. They're gonna do something that will give them the results they want.

 

I use google - not going to use anything Microsoft related.

 

I used to use Google for years but I have switched to Bing recently...

 

google for me, only bing thing I use is maps on occasion.

 

I like Google, but i'm starting to discover all the ways they keep track of your information.
