Hmm lets see. If I wanted 1 brand new car from each,

from GM it would be a Silverado HD with the new duramax diesel
from Ford it would be a new Mustang shelby gt500
from chrysler it would be a Jeep SRT-8

now if it were 1 old car from each it would be
from GM, a 1970 chevelle SS454
from Ford, a 1968 428 cobra jet mustang
from chrysler, a Hemi cuda convertable

I really didn't follow the rules: Classic cars: Ford = 69 Mach 1, GM = 72 Hurst Olds pace car w/hard top & Hurst installed power sun roof, Chrysler = 58 Plymouth Fury Hard top.

Newer cars: Ford = 2005-2009 Mustang Saleen supercharged, GM = 2010 Corvette Grand Sport, Dodge = Newer Challenger R/T w/classic package.

I gotta rock the EV1

Sideways 8 gas mileage, and you are guaranteed to have the only one at ANY car show. Then the GM assassins get you

I saw a documentary on who killed the electric car and it was pretty sad. There was a scene where loyal past owners/leaasers were picketing outside a dealership trying to prevent a car carrier from leaving to take the EV1s away to have them destroyed

That was a great doc. A definite must watch.

Reliable and fun 100% elec made more than a decade ago. From an American manufacturer. Now you can only do a boring hybrid, or drop huge $$$ at Tesla.

Saw that documentary as well, very well put together...GM Always seems to be ahead of it's time with things then just decides to kill it before it hits it's full potenetial....EV Car being one...and Turbo cars (Grand national) being another....if they woulda continued with turbo development, they woulda been light years ahead of imports and Ford with Power/reliabilty/ Gas Mileage.....just 2 cases of dropping the ball...
